Cody McIlvoy

Cody McIlvoy was born and raised in Springfield, Kentucky. In 2015 while an undergrad at the University of Kentucky, he started at Golden Law Office as a runner. Cody has been with the firm ever since and held multiple positions including as a law clerk throughout law school. He attended the University of Kentucky College of Law and graduated cum laude in May, 2021. He was also received the CALI Awards for academic excellence in Constitutional Law and Evidence. After passing the bar exam in the fall of 2021 he officially joined the firm as an attorney.  His nearly seven years with Golden Law Office has provided him invaluable, hands-on civil litigation experience.

Shortly after admission to the bar, as second chair Cody successfully tried a medical malpractice case to a Plaintiff’s verdict with an award of nearly half a million dollars in damages. Cody’s practice is focused exclusively on helping individuals who have been injured in accidents, victims of nursing home abuse and neglect, and medical malpractice.
